Rogue Lacquer Chicago Trio Swatches and Review
Rogue Lacquer released the Chicago Trio at the Polish and Beauty Expo this month, and it is now available on the brand’s site. This bright trio is lovely for summer but also nice as we look forward to fall. Let’s have a look!
First of all, formula notes, since these are similar. They all have great formulas and dry quickly, and needed top coat for smoothness. I wore them all in four thin coats, but two or three will cover. Each is priced at $11 or $30 for all three.
Rogue Lacquer Gone Rogue in Chicago has a mix of red, teal, and purple metallic flakes and holo microflakes in a clear base.
Rogue Lacquer Miracles on the Mile is a strawberry jelly with gold iridescent flakes with a slight blue shift.
Rogue Lacquer Wind in the City is a cobalt blue jelly with gold iridescent flakes with a slight blue shift and holo microflakes.
Now for live swatches!
I love the bright quality of the base colors on the jellies, and the fully metallic flake polish is a fun pointillistic mix. I wish I could have gone to the event in Tinley Park, but it is great that Rachel released this trio on the site for all of us to enjoy. Do you have a favorite? I think mine is Wind in the City.
