Pumpkins and Plaid Thanksgiving Nail Art
Press Sample
Hello everyone. This was not my original Thanksgiving nail art that I planned, but I’m just wearing a plain color for tomorrow due to circumstances, so I’m finally getting around to sharing what I wore a few weeks ago. I absolutely love it and really, so did everyone else so let’s take a look!
This was inspired by something I saw on Pinterest. I have done pumpkins and plaid before, but it was this color combination that I saw that I absolutely loved. I don’t use teal enough in fall manicures. I mixed it up by using a shimmery base and keeping it shiny and what I saw was all cremes and matte. I thought I pinned it, but I don’t see it. So if you know the inspo, let me know and I will link.
Here are all the colors I used. I immediately knew Flannels & Boots would be the perfect teal!
- Teal base: Stella Chroma Flannel & Boots
- Lighter orange: OPI Have Your Pannetone and Eat It Too
- Darker orange: OPI It’s a Piazza Cake
- Yellow: Zoya Honey
- Green: Zoya Josie
Flannel & Boots is an awesome matte polish actually and I love that it is so rich and does not stain. Yes, I wore this for an entire week and nothing! I just did blobs for the pumpkins and added minimal details. Then the plaid nails were literally just four lines. I love the autumnal oranges with the blue! My college colors too!
How cute is this? I bet it’s beautiful matte too, but again, I wore it a week and forgot to take pics of it matte, and oh well!
Unfortunately, Flannels & Boots is discontinued, but might I suggest Raking It In, Carousel, or Divided Sky? All amazing blues currently available. And Stella Chroma will have a 25% off Black Friday sale! So stay tuned!
Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
