Polish Pickup Tis the Season November 2022 Swatches and Review

Polish Pickup November 2022 is now open for pre-order through November 7 at midnight EST. The theme this month is Tis the Season, allowing the pre-ordered items to show up in time for the holidays. In case you didn’t already know, Polish Pickup is a Facebook group and pop-up shop that offers monthly pre-orders of indie polish and crafts made to themes voted on by members of the group. This month I have products from KBShimmer, Pretty Beautiful Unlimited, and Wildflower Lacquer.

KBShimmer Peppermint Marshmallow Sugar Scrub is a moisturizing scrub ontaining 9.5 oz of product. The fragrance notes are vanilla, marshmallow, and peppermint.

Ingredients: Sucrose, Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Hydrogenated Palm Kernel Oil, Emulsifying Wax NF, Stearic Acid, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) Fruit, Fragrance, Cetyl Alcohol, Phenoxyethanol (and) Caprylyl Glycol

KBShimmer Snow Unique is a mint-blue jelly with dense pink-orange-gold-green-blue multichrome iridescent microflakes. I wore it in four thin coats, but three will cover. This has a medium dry time and I recommend using thin coats and allowing plenty of dry time between coats to prevent bubbling. It needs top coat for smoothness and shine. The effect is super-iridescent, like mother-of-pearl.

Pretty Beautiful Unlimited Gingerbread Wax is a 3 oz para-soy wax melt with butter, maple, nut, vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg notes.

Pretty Beautiful Unlimited Pink Nightmare is an amaranth pink creme-jelly with holo pigment and microflakes and two types of multichrome iridescent crystal chameleon flakes. I wore it in three thin coats, but two will cover. It had a great formula and quick dry time. It needs top coat for smoothness and shine.

Wildflower Lacquer Perhaps a Christmas Gourd is a rich cherry red metallic shimmer with pink-gold duochrome shimmer. I wore it in three thin coats, but two will cover, and it had a nice, fast-drying formula. This one is seriously metallic – your nails will glow like glass Christmas tree ornaments. It does stain the nails, so if that bothers you, you might want to skip it. My staining after a full mani faded after a couple more manicures.
