Polish Pickup is about to reopen on Friday August 5 at 11AM EDT with a pre-order running through Monday August 8 at 11PM EDT. This month the theme is Marine Magic, so prepare yourself for all things aquatic and squishy! In case you didn’t already know, Polish Pickup is a Facebook group and pop-up shop that offers monthly pre-orders of indie polish and crafts made to themes voted on by members of the group.

Anchor & Heart Lacquer Baby Beluga is a silver linear holo with turquoise shimmer and various white and blue-toned glitters. I wore it in four thin coats, but two or three will cover. It had a great formula and quick dry time and needs top coat for smoothness.

KBShimmer Jelly Much? is a pink-leaning cherry jelly with sparkly gold-green-blue multichrome iridescent shimmer. I wore it in four thin coats, but two or three will cover. It had a medium-fast dry time and I recommend thin coats with shimmer heavy polishes like this.

KBShimmer Restoration Drops is my absolute go-to polish thinner! This contains ONLY butyl acetate and ethyl acetate, so it won’t ruin your 5-free polishes with chemicals they are not supposed to have thin them. This is by far the most economical thinner I have found with only these ingredients – the cheaper beauty supply ones contain chemicals that can degrade glitter and shimmer or even contain straight up paint thinner. I use this for any thicker polish, polishes where I accidentally left the cap loose, and most often for my top coats. This will revive a completely dried polish if you add it in stages.

KBShimmer Salt Water & Mermaids Sugar Scrub is a moisturizing sugar scrub containing 9.5 oz of product. The fragrance notes are ocean mist, sea grass, agave nectar, and coconut milk.

Music City Beauty I’m So Jelly is a carrot orange jelly with pink-gold-green microflake multichrome iridescent shimmer and subtle holo shimmer. I wore it in four thin coats, but two or three will do. This had a wonderful, fast-drying formula.

Wildflower Lacquer Squishy is a periwinkle jelly with turquoise-blue-pink multichrome iridescent shimmer and holo microflakes. I wore it in four thin coats, but two or three will cover. It had a great, fast dry time and was glowy without brushstrokes.
